Our award is one that will only be given to those who we feel make or have made a difference in the world of pets. No one can apply for our award. Each person will be selected by the residents of Foxbriar for reasons that will be presented here. Only those who have received our award may nominate another person or site.
We do not require that our award be used as a link to our site. It is not given for that reason. Our award is freely given to those we believe it should go to. We are only young dogs, but we know those who really love pets. Thank you for visiting our Merit Award page. Below are those who have received The Foxbriar Award of Merit.

Quailcountry Marcia Chauvin should receive this award simply for welping The Fox. For there has never been nor will there ever be a better companion than The Fox. Never was or will be a more loving, friendly, intelligent, good hearted dog. But there is another reason to present this award. It is what Marcia said to our mom when they were discussing The Fox. She said "I believe that people should get the best dog I can breed, wether it is for a pet or for show." Fox Terrier Rescue of Southern California Pam Bishop and all who work in this field have contributed above and beyond the call of pet owners, both in time, love and resources. With out people such as these, Fox Terriers would be destroyed in larger numbers than they are. A Big Thank You from The Residents of Foxbriar.

Gabe the Toy Fox Terrier We present this award to Phoebe and Gabe for the outstanding job they do with their site. Though Pepper was purchased at a pet store, this is NOT the place to find a fur friend. Gabe directs visitors to information explaining why not. His page also displays many wonderful friends that would otherwise go unseen. Gabe's page helps people to understand that a Toy Fox Terrier is just that, not a Rat Terrier or JRT, both wonderful breeds. But a TFT is a TFT. We have presented Chyrste with this award for her years of dedication to the improvement of the TFT. As a breeder, showman, and judge she has helped to promote and improve the breed. Her page is a shining example of what the Toy Fox Terrier is and should always be.
