I arrived home on Saturday and we spent the next 2 days aquatinting ourselves with each other.
The Big Fox made it clear that he would take care of me. The others could play with me, but NO ONE could correct me but The Big Fox and my human mom and dad.
Cookie, Chip, Pepper, who is a TFT, and Brat, another TFT, began playing with me the next morning. I wore them out!
Going outside was strange. There is a flap for dogs to go through, but I didn't understand it. Mom put me through it, then opened the human door for me to come in.
The Big Fox said that would not do. All dogs must use the flap which he calls a dog door.
The Big Fox opened the door for me to go out. I ran under his belly, then he put his nose under my chest and lifted me up and shoved me through the flap. Then he put his nose under my bottom and butted me through.
The second time he butted me through, I understood.
Now I run in and out on my own, or get The Big Fox to run with me.
The Big Fox has lots of beds. He said I could lay on them, until I started to chew the corner of his best one.
He scared me. He yelled at me and told me I was not allowed on that bed anymore.
That lasted a week. Now he lets me lay on it with him, but I'm not allowed to chew it.
On Monday my mom and dad brought me a new bed and an x-pen. When they put me in it, The Big Fox had a fit. He didn't want me in it and he jumped a baby gate and opened the two latches on the x-pen gate and let me out.
Mom put a stop to that, but, sometimes, he still lets me out.
On Tuesday we went to a place that I like to visit.
Mom put a funny thing around my neck and, with treats, urged me to walk next to her. When I stood, I got more treats.

Lots of people came to see me and pet me. They said I was a great looking pup.
Then mom took me in to a ring with a lot of older pups.
I strutted around and demo'd how to get a pup to walk beside a human.
The rest of the week we played at home, but, on Thursday we went to another place where I met my vet.
She checked me all over and said I am a fine healthy dog.
On Friday we went back to the other place, which is my training building.
I met more people who all petted me and mom and another human, my Aunt Annie, let me run through things called jump standards.
Then they gave me treats for walking on a board that moved down.
Finally they gave me treats for running through a barrel. What fun!
Aunt Annie took photos.
All week I had been learning to walk beside my mom, stand just right, and to let my mom touch me all over. Now, I began to learn other things.
Mom took a butter bowl lid and I learned to touch it. I also learned to touch a thing that makes sounds. It's called a piano.
In the evenings I get on mom's lap and sleep there, with Chip.
In the mornings The Big Fox gets me up and mom takes me out of my crate. I go outside with the big dogs and then we all get a biscuit.
On Tuesday I went back to my training building. I gaited around the ring with 2 french bull dogs, then I did my stand. The lady who watches us said all kinds of nice things abour me.
Then mom took me into the ring with the big pups. She had their owners put them in a sit stay and she talked to them as we walked up and down the ring. I had learned to stay right beside my mom.
Suddenly she stopped and said something to the people about only having me for a week and I was in something called heel position. The other humans suddenly seemed to understand and all the dogs were worked with until they were walking like me.
What they don't understand is, I am home. I am with my forever mom. Of course I'll walk beside her!
